Job Summary
Qualifications:
- Experience: Has driving experience ideally in a construction or industrial setting.
- Valid Drivers License: A valid commercial drivers license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items operate heavy machinery and work in various weather conditions.
- Safety Training: Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with site managers crew members and delivery personnel.
- Time Management: Ability to follow schedules ensure timely deliveries and manage multiple tasks effectively

Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Materials & Equipment: Safely transport building materials machinery and tools to the construction site as well as between different parts of the site.
- Personnel Transport: Safely transport workers and supervisors to and from the construction site.
- Site Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the construction vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition including fuel oil and tire checks.
- Load and Unload Cargo: Assist with loading and unloading heavy materials and equipment at the site ensuring that they are securely fastened during transport.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws safety protocols and construction site regulations. Maintain safety equipment and ensure that materials are handled in a safe manner.
- Delivery Coordination: Coordinate with site management to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment meeting project deadlines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of deliveries vehicle maintenance and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Emergency Assistance: Provide support in case of vehicle breakdowns accidents or other emergencies on the site.
