Role Overview
We are seeking a Residential Maintenance Managerto oversee the maintenance repair and renovation needs of luxury vacation homes. The RMM will coordinate day-to-day solutions with local hosts/caretakers vendors and asset managers while ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standard. This role involves project management vendor coordination budgeting and documentation of all maintenance activity in Salesforce.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented resourceful and able to solve problems remotely across a wide range of home systems while fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee maintenance repair and renovation projects for residential properties including scope definition vendor selection and budgeting.
- Remotely troubleshoot and advise on a wide range of home systems including mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC pool/spa home security and automation systems.
- Conduct and oversee regular residence inspections to ensure Healthy Home standards.
- Identify document and systematically track maintenance cases in Salesforce.
- Obtain evaluate and negotiate vendor bids and contracts to secure competitive terms.
- Monitor market costs for services to ensure budget efficiency.
- Collaborate with asset managers and local hosts to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and manage annual maintenance improvement and repair budgets.
- Establish and manage recurring vendor relationships for ongoing care and specialized equipment.
- Maintain detailed property profiles including equipment lists vendor contacts and maintenance histories.
- Proactively flag risks delays or budget overruns to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and emergency repairs while maintaining service level expectations.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven project management experience including vendor/GC oversight and budget control.
- Strong knowledge of residential property maintenance particularly single- and multi-family homes.
- Ability to remotely problem-solve complex repair and maintenance issues.
- Flexible and adaptive to shifting priorities in a global fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skillsable to convey critical information clearly and propose effective solutions.
- Professional collaborative and capable of building positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Effective leadership with a proactive solution-driven mindset.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new technologies with Salesforce experience preferred.
