Job Summary
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant you will take ownership of guest rooms ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean comfortable space and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.
What you will be doing:
- Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard; including making beds dusting removing soiled linen from rooms retrieval of clean linen from linen closets vacuuming bathroom cleaning inside window cleaning replenishing supplies within room etc.
- Ensuring proper usage of all cleaning products & wearing all required personal protective equipment.
- Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest.
- Take ownership of guests privacy and belongings while ensuring exceptional service.
- Responsible for restocking housekeeping carts & closet/service areas daily.
- Track and update room assignments throughout the day.
- Report any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures as well as health & safety protocols.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs being professional and welcoming
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written & verbal
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
- Physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending kneeling pushing pulling and lifting of heavy objects
