Job Summary
As the Junior Fit Technician you will contribute to Lauras success by measuring fit samples assisting in fit sessions and supporting pattern makers and fit technicians in creating initial specs patterns and comments.
How will you support the team
- Measure fit samples with accuracy.
- Create basic initial garment specs - to assist when necessary the pattern makers.
- Attend sample fitting sessions on live model when required.
- Provide basic comments with appropriate corrections to suppliers with a detailed report of improvements to be made.
- Verify that the required corrections have been made on the next fit samples.
Qualifications :

- A Fashion Design Diploma or equivalent diploma in pattern making and garment techniques
- An understanding of pattern-making and pattern balancing
- An understanding of garment construction grading and industry standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of PAD system is an asset.
- Knowledge of CLO3D system is an asset.
- Knowledge of PLM system is an asset.
