You will make an impact by

• Leading the planning design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads drainage and bridges.
• Managing capital works from concept to completion ensuring quality budget and timelines are met.
• Collaborating with internal teams residents and external stakeholders to deliver community-focused outcomes.
• Solving complex engineering challenges with creativity and sound judgement.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement across our infrastructure portfolio.

What you will bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in civil project management ideally within local government or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of construction standards regulations and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders and the community.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
• A current Victorian drivers licence.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality public infrastructure.

Council supports engineers on their journey to Professional Engineering Registration by funding registration and renewal fees and providing access to learning and development opportunities.
