Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for mechanical design Bartelt Packaging is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help drive innovation in our advanced packaging solutions.

In this role youll lead the design of complex automated packaging machineryfrom initial concept through to production. Youll collaborate with a skilled team of engineers and technical experts to deliver equipment that exceeds expectations for performance safety and reliability.

ð What Youll Do

• Design and develop mechanical electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems for state-of-the-art packaging equipment
• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings BOMs and documentation to support manufacturing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype test and validate new designs
• Drive innovation through research experimentation and root cause analysis
• Provide technical support to production purchasing sales and service teams
• Ensure compliance with performance standards customer specs and regulatory requirements
• Take ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision

ð What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 57 years of experience designing capital equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Proven background in OEM automated machinery
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and mechanical dimensioning of parts and assemblies
• Strong skills in MS Office and engineering documentation
• A hands-on collaborative engineer who loves bringing ideas to life
