Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement electrical systems including lighting electrical control systems and/or switchgear configurations.
- Prepare electrical drawings schematics and technical specifications using CAD or electrical design software.
- Perform load calculations short circuit studies and system coordination analysis.
- Select and specify electrical equipment lighting fixtures control panels and switchgear components.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (NEC NFPA IEEE etc.) and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects mechanical engineers contractors and vendors to coordinate design and construction activities.
- Conduct site visits for field inspections commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Assist with cost estimation project scheduling and procurement activities.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
