We are hiring: Screening and Disciplinary Coordinator - Alpha House

Starting Wage

  • Salary: The starting salary for this position is $22.00-$26.00/hour consideration will be made for candidates experience and educational level.

Job Type

  • Full-Time Non-Exempt

Schedule

  • Standard Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday; rotating on-call.

Training

  • Orientation: Alternatives provides thorough orientation and training for all new staff. You can expect a one-week orientation where you will learn all about Alternatives and be prepared for your role. This first week is scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM at our Alternatives Training Center.

To be a successful Screening and Disciplinary Coordinator you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in behavioral sciences and one year of employment experience in social services in a job development or case management position; or equivalent experience.
  • Direct public relations experience must be able to relate and communicate with referral agencies.
  • Computer writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment federal drug testing and background checks.
  • A valid drivers license.

About the team:

The Screening and Disciplinary Coordinator operates under the leadership of the Director of Alpha House and serves as a key liaison across multiple internal departments and external agencies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless coordination communication and compliance between Alpha House and its inter-agency partners.

What Will You Do in This Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Screening and Data Coordinator to manage facility capacity and offender intake processes. Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate weekly screening committee meetings and ensure attendance.
  • Manage offender intake transport and program placement logistics.
  • Maintain and update offender data in management systems.
  • Liaise with referral agencies probation officers and correctional staff.
  • Monitor program populations and waiting lists to ensure contract compliance.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide education on referral processes.
  • Collaborate with treatment programs and manage special placement approvals.

PTO

  • Accrual: Start accruing PTO from your first paycheck. Full-time (40-hour) employees with 0-2 years of employment accrue 4.65 hours per pay period totaling 15 days a year.
  • Increased Accrual with Tenure: Accrual rates increase at 3 years 5 years and every subsequent 5-year mark up to 25 years.
  • Pro Rata Basis: Accrual rates for employees working 20-30 hours per week are on a pro rata basis.

Paid Holidays
