Job Description

Connectivity Point is currently looking for a full-time Coordinator- Security Solutions to support the security division of Connectivity Point.

Job Overview

Were seeking a detail-oriented Security Coordinator to manage the daily schedules of security technicians ensuring the smooth delivery of installations maintenance and customer support. Youll be the central point of contact between clients the operations team and field staff-making sure the right technicians equipment and resources are in place to meet project deadlines and exceed customer expectations. This role is key to keeping customer appointments on track optimizing resources and ensuring projects are completed on schedule. Working closely with the operations team field technicians and other departments youll help deliver fast efficient service that keeps projects running smoothly and customers impressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch technicians for installations maintenance and repairs.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm and update appointments.
  • Work with operations to prioritize urgent jobs and optimize routes.
  • Track job progress and keep schedules up to date.
  • Identifies and coordinates needs and receives direction on real-time staffing increases or decreases.
  • Order materials and receive materials for upcoming project / service work as well as special orders for customers.
  • Stage materials with SOW Prints and BOM for Technicians upcoming work when needed.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure billing and invoicing is accurate and complete.
  • Participates in daily weekly monthly and annual planning process as appropriate.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or installation including security voice data and audio-visual structured cabling systems.
  • Experience in scheduling dispatching or similar role (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Clear professional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and basic computer skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of security systems is preferred.

  • Strong teambuilding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word Excel Outlook) required.
  • Must maintain a valid drivers license.

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with frequent interaction with technicians clients and multiple internal departments.
