Job Description
Work Schedule:
100% FTE Monday to Friday in between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Provide care to adult urology patients primarily in the area of mens health and male infertility.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in a primarily outpatient setting.
- Participate in weekly urology academic conferences.
- Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including but not limited to: catheter insertions catheter changes and complex bladder irrigation testopel insertion spermatic cord block.
- Potentially perform vasectomies in the clinic setting
Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as an NP in Family Adult or Adult/Gero Primary Care.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
