Essential Duties:- Provide caseload coverage for OT services.
- Model appropriate behavior conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment.
- Evaluate document and implement treatment plans for clients referred by physicians.
- Record evaluations daily progress notes discharge reports and service billings in a timely manner and in accordance with procedure to provide complete documentation for client charts
as needed. - Cover treatment sessions by implementing the established plan of care and documenting treatment notes accordingly.
- Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem-solving techniques to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions.
- Maintain caseload levels at a level deemed reasonable by the OT supervisor.
- Provide supervision of COTA services when assigned for a consistent and extended period in compliance with state practice regulations and organizational policies.
- Observe all rules of confidentiality as they pertain to program participants internally and in working with outside individuals and/or agencies.
- Other duties as assigned by the OT Supervisor.
Requirements:- A degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure in the state of Michigan
- CPR First Aid AED certification (provided by Origami)

- Interest in treating children and adult populations
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to stand walk sit use hands to palpate handle or feel reach with hands and arms climb or balance and stoop kneel or crawl. Accommodated alternatives are acceptable if they accomplish the necessary essential tasks. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision distance peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to assist in transfers gait and mobility training.
