Are you a payroll and benefits expert who loves getting the details right while also making a big impact on peoples day-to-day experience at work Were looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager to take ownership of payroll benefits and compliance ensuring our employees feel supported valued and taken care of.
This is a high-visibility role where youll be the go-to person for everything from paychecks to 401(k) plans to health benefits. Youll work closely with employees at every level of the company making sure our systems run smoothly our practices stay compliant and our people have the resources they need to thrive.
Lead weekly and bi-weekly payroll processingensuring every paycheck is accurate timely and compliant.
Administer employee benefits programs (health dental vision life disability COBRA) and serve as the first point of contact for employee questions.
Manage our 401(k) plan from start to finish: enrollments contributions compliance testing and employee communications.
Oversee all leaves of absence (FMLA STD LTD Paid Family Leave) and Workers Compensation claims.
Partner with insurance brokers and vendors to maintain accurate billing resolve issues and support Open Enrollment.
Track and report on compensation and benefits trends to help us stay competitive and attractive to top talent.
File compliance reports (EEO-1 W-2s ACA etc.) and ensure payroll/benefits practices meet federal state and local requirements.
Be a trusted partner to HR managers and employeeshelping them navigate payroll and benefits with confidence.
Experience managing payroll and benefits in a multi-state environment.
Strong working knowledge of payroll regulations tax requirements and benefits compliance.
Hands-on experience with 401(k) administration and compliance testing.
Proficiency with payroll systems and benefit portals; Excel skills are a plus.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and people skillsyou enjoy helping others and building trust.
