Duties and Responsibilities
Performing human cell culture maintenance and supporting in-house testing lab operations and quality initiatives
Communicating with and updating team members and stakeholders during the week to organize prioritize and schedule duties for independent weekend completion
Executing general lab procedures and tasks including but not limited to calculations assays documentation and troubleshooting without direct supervision
Mandatory weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) will be required
Knowledge and Qualifications
BSc (in progress or completed) in Life Sciences or related field (relevant co-op training directed studies or equivalent is an asset)
Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques required. Training in cellular and molecular biology techniques including qPCR immunocytochemistry or microscopy would be an asset
Experience performing independent laboratory research and coordinating with and supporting multiple collaborators
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$58500.00 - $79100.00STEMCELL determines an individuals pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience education job-related skills and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company addition to base salary STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits retirement savings and more.
