The Role:

Were looking for a passionate and curious Scientist II to join our team. What Youll Do:

• Dive deep into purification process development always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

• Lead development of purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing

• Perform small and pilot scale purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing

• Transfer processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities

• Technology development to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of purification processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new possibilities and solutions.

• Regularly share your findings ideas and solutions in both team settings and presentations.

• Ensure that curiosity-driven questions and exploration lead to measurable impactful results.

Who You Are:

• A curious problem-solver with a passion for learning and growing in a dynamic environment.

• BS or MS degree in Engineering Biochemistry or related field and 7 years of experience or Ph.D and some relevant experience.

• Knowledgeable in chromatography and filtration theory downstream development strategy and process scale-up/transfer

• Experience with chromatography operations including operating AKTA systems

• Experience with filtration operation including executing bench-scale dead-end filtration viral filtration UF/DF and depth filtration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $110000 to $130000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
