The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a state-of-the-art observation unit serving adults and adolescents experiencing a psychiatric crisis. The CSU can serve up to 12 patients at a time in an open therapeutic milieu. The CSU fosters a collaborative inter-professional environment that supports all aspects of nursing practice allowing you to deliver high-quality care using the most advanced technologies paired with the latest advancements in nursing. Members of the interdisciplinary treatment team are prepared to manage patients who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis and in need of immediate around-the-clock care and observation. The units open concept features a large central room with comfortable reclining chairs rather than traditional hospital beds. Spaces for individual therapy are located immediately adjacent to the central living space.
