We have an exciting opportunity to join our national DC Consulting team as a DC Consultant where youll work alongside senior consultants supporting some of the UKs largest employers and most forward-thinking DC (Defined Contribution) schemes.

The Role

  • Assisting lead consultants to deliver advice to employers and trustees in relation to their DC schemes and wider savings plans covering a multitude of areas including: scheme design investment strategy communications retirement support provider selection governance and compliance.
  • Researching for and drafting advice and technical papers for review by senior colleagues
  • Attending client meetings in a supporting role
  • Maintaining client records and systems
  • Managing small discrete projects for clients from scoping through to delivery
  • Contributing to internal client and colleague related specialist groups covering key DC issues or colleague development groups.
  • Supporting and training junior colleagues
  • Supporting with all elements of client management e.g. billing budget tracking etc.


Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Good knowledge in (Defined Contributions) DC pensions and experience gained in a consulting provider or administration role
  • Working towards or willing to sit relevant professional exams e.g. PMI CII IMC etc
  • Must be proactive inquisitive and organised with excellent project management and relationship skills
  • Highly detail oriented with good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently
  • Willing to learn and muck in to exceed client and colleague expectations
  • Able to work efficiently within budgets without jeopardising quality of work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel would be advantageous but not essential
