We have an exciting opportunity to join our national DC Consulting team as a DC Consultant where youll work alongside senior consultants supporting some of the UKs largest employers and most forward-thinking DC (Defined Contribution) schemes.

The Role
- Assisting lead consultants to deliver advice to employers and trustees in relation to their DC schemes and wider savings plans covering a multitude of areas including: scheme design investment strategy communications retirement support provider selection governance and compliance.
- Researching for and drafting advice and technical papers for review by senior colleagues
- Attending client meetings in a supporting role
- Maintaining client records and systems
- Managing small discrete projects for clients from scoping through to delivery
- Contributing to internal client and colleague related specialist groups covering key DC issues or colleague development groups.
- Supporting and training junior colleagues
- Supporting with all elements of client management e.g. billing budget tracking etc.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Good knowledge in (Defined Contributions) DC pensions and experience gained in a consulting provider or administration role
- Working towards or willing to sit relevant professional exams e.g. PMI CII IMC etc
- Must be proactive inquisitive and organised with excellent project management and relationship skills
- Highly detail oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team but also independently
- Willing to learn and muck in to exceed client and colleague expectations
- Able to work efficiently within budgets without jeopardising quality of work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel would be advantageous but not essential
