Job Summary
Position Summary
The Vice Chancellor will as a member of the Chancellors executive staff serve as the Universitys senior official responsible for leading efforts in governmental affairs campus security medical malpractice and community relations. The incumbent will work closely with the Louisiana Office of Risk Management and the Attorney General as well as the Legislature parish and local governmental bodies to support the vision mission and objectives of the institution. The incumbent will lead safety and policing programs to ensure a secure campus environment and will lead efforts to incorporate the principles of engagement into all aspects of teaching research patient care and community service. The incumbent will nurture and enhance community relations through direct interface with public and private agencies businesses and organizations throughout the LSU Health footprint.
