Multiquip is a private family owned and run business started in 1984 it has now grown to a National Company with around 1300 employees that are totally dedicated to servicing the Poultry Industry across Australia. We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the growing farms to the processing plant and from hatching eggs to capturing fully grown birds.
We are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator (mainly blue collar) to join the HR team at our new offices in Liverpool. If you love recruiting and looking for a challenge of identifying quality blue-collar and occasional white-collar talent then this role is for you. We are looking for an individual who can drive end-to-end recruitment for the business to achieve our operational and strategic goals the role will also be involved in our training matrix and development.
Key Responsibilities will include;
Identify and recruit candidates that fit the specific needs of each site and roles we recruit for eg: truck drivers
Conduct initial phone interviews to understand candidates skills experience and career aspirations
Arrange pre-employment medicals police checks (for some white collar roles) undertake licence checks ensuring all administrative tasks and compliance requirements are met for candidates to be work-ready.
Coordinate induction process
Respond to candidate enquiries and maintain strong relationships with all applicants
Draft and post advertisements across a range of media eg: Seek
Maintain data base of applications and roles through Sharepoint Recruit Tracker
Provide weekly updates of role/s progress at HR meeting
Assist HR with training & development coordination and general administrative duties
The ideal applicant will have;:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in the blue collar space with a successful track record for achieving results
Recruitment experience in Blue Collar (including Trades Labourers Transport/Drivers) with occasional white collar roles
Professional communication and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation
Team player with a collaborative mindset
The ability to effectively work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work
A fun energetic and hard working approach
An understanding of the various employment awards would be an advantage as would general HR exposure
