Job Summary

Direct Support Professional - Adult Day Support Activities

Witco is a nonprofit-human-services organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through advocacy life skill enrichment social recreation programs and vocational-community job placement programs.

Direct Support Professionals provide support in group or individual settings at our centers in Ontario and Payette and in the community. Day Programs are geared towards developing and maintaining the social skills activities and abilities for leading a self-directed life and integrating within the community to the degree desired.

Essential Duties

Provide developmental support and encourage participation in activities that promote personal growth independence and skills training.

Provide Personal Care Assistance: Assist participant with (ADLs) including eating grooming and hygiene toileting and dressing.

Provide behavioral support to address challenges promote well-being and maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere.
