Wellbeing and support are top priorities for NTU. Ensuring these enable NTU to fulfill its educational mission and duty of care.
This role is part of the University Wellbeing Office (UWO) and is required for the management and administration of wellbeing support services and programmes for Postgraduate Coursework (PGC) students. It will work closely with Schools and the University Counselling Centre (UCC) on procedures processes and guidelines to ensure that PGC students receive seamless and efficient support without compromising quality of care.
The role will also work very closely with relevant stakeholders to enhance the wellbeing and care of all NTU staff and students. It will play a vital role in growing NTUs Wellbeing Community of Practice (including growing the CoPs competencies) as well as driving proactive and preventive programming with a focus on reaching PGC students.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure efficiency and quality of care and support
Manage and provide administrative and operational support for the provision of various campus support and care services such as counselling services NTUs wellbeing mobile application and student health insurance.
Develop and implement procedures and processes with schools and other service providers for access to support and care services for PGC students.
Supervise and guide the PGC student care managers in Schools.
Promote and enhance health and wellbeing
In collaboration with UWOs Wellbeing Development Team (WDT) plan develop and implement initiatives such as talks events and promotional campaigns targeted at PGC students.
Plan develop produce and distribute wellbeing resources to PGC students.
Work with Schools and NTUs Wellbeing Community of Practice (CoP) to develop and grow NTUs wellbeing volunteer community and their support services for better support and care for PGC students.
Improve wellbeing competency
Manage the compulsory structured wellbeing training and development programmes for employees and volunteers who hold roles to support PGC students.
Monitor and wellbeing to formulate and direct wellbeing resources
Implement feedback channels and conduct wellbeing surveys and needs analysis for PGC students.
Analyse the effectiveness and impact of these programmes in providing care and support to PGC students.
Provide regular reports and recommendations on PGC student wellbeing.
Requirements:
Minimally a bachelors degree in any related field. Specialisation in social science such as health social work psychology etc. preferred.
Proven ability in developing and implementing effective marketing/social media strategies and campaigns for large audiences with diverse needs.
At least 8 years of experience preferably in the tertiary education sector.
Successful experience in planning and organising events campaigns and talks and training on mental health and wellbeing.
Successful administration and implementation of support services.
Excellent track record in developing/growing community and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent with data collection and management. Knowledge of analytic methods approaches tools and implementation will be advantageous.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 and technological tools and information systems relevant in a university setting.
