Job Description

Job title:Flexible (Bank)Support Worker

Location: Wirral andNW Cheshire

Salary: 12.60 ph (incl. holiday pay)

Hours:Work as part of our team of Flexible Support Workers (Bank/Relief) choosing when you workfrom our list of available shifts. Our day time shifts are typically7.30am to 4pm or 4pm to 10.30pmalthough this may vary from service to service. Waking night shifts are typically 9.45pm to 7.45am.

What will you do as a Flexible Support Worker:

  • Work across all our services
  • Accompanythe peoplewe supportto leisure and personal activities or appointments
  • Support peopleto attend work or day time activities - often in our own Day Services
  • Help to maintain good domesticstandards within theservice (house) encouraging the service user to participate inall domesticactivities.
  • Help with personalcareif required
  • Update paperwork and other administration tasks as needed
  • Preparemeals with the people we support ensuring they have a healthy and balanced diet.
  • Administer medication as and when required (full training provided)
  • Supportpeoplethrough times when they are feeling anxious and display risk behaviours
