The Opportunity
Williams International has a need for 25 engineering summer (2026) intern positions.
Interns may be assigned to any one of the following engineering areas:
- Mechanical: Design 3D Modeling 2D Prints Layout of Engine Systems Bill of Materials Stackup Analysis Structural Analysis
- Aerodynamics: Design Performance Analysis Fluid Flow Requirements
- Thermodynamics: Engine Cycle Modeling Engine to Engine Data Comparisons Cycle and Thermo Analysis
- Electrical: Design Embedded Control Systems Engine Control Software Component/Assembly Testing
- Software: Development and Troubleshooting
- Manufacturing: Additive Advanced Automation Electrical Process Development Facilities Test Methods
- Chemical/Material Science: Materials and Processes Chemical Coating Welding Process Penetrant Inspection
- Quality: Reliability Requirements Buy and Make Part Inspection Manufacturing Process Review Failure Investigation
Intern Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum of 60 credit hours (must be a junior or senior standing or in a Masters program)
- Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 preferred
- Course study must be in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Computer Science Materials Science Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or Civil Engineering
- U. S. Citizenship required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
