Security Coordinator - Defence Security and Resilience EMEA

Full-Time

Bristol site-based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Coordinator to join our Defence Aerospace business in this role you will be responsible for managing daily security operations for our Defence Aerospace programmes.

What you will be doing:

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Manage day to day operational security activities associated with Defence Aerospace programmes including the administration of security clearances for our people .
  • Champion define and deploy best practice Security processes techniques and tools in line with guidance from our Security management team.
  • Support the planning co-ordination and execution of security standards and requirements managing compliance against the GovS 007 Security policy.
  • Maintain operational security procedures plans documents work instructions local operating instructions and risk register for the Defence EMEA team (including all satellite locations).
  • Support any internal or external audits under the guidance of our Security management team.
  • As part of our security team uphold standards and monitoring of our security controls identifying improvements where applicable.
  • Maintain awareness of current and future changes in government and company guidance or legislation that may impact on the local operating procedures and work instructions.

  • Administration experience demonstrating proactive accurate record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills and is effective at building relationships at all levels unphased by dealing with teammates partners or customers with a different focus.
  • The ability to assemble analyse and manage data to support our Security organisation using the data to uphold standards whilst identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Experience in handling Government classified assets (preferable).

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office home or another remote location. Its a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade 7 - 10 .

This role will require you to hold a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Ideally you will be willing to progress to a Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. To start Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you dont currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work.
