NEW STARTING RATE: $21-23/Hour
MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for reliable energetic and positive individuals for the Shipping Clerk position. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure efficient shipping operations through detailed knowledge of procedures transit routes and rates.
- Responsible for ensuring the on-time shipment of all products to meet customer commitments by managing all shipping activities and processes that may impact delivery performance.
- Oversee the maintenance of shipping records such as bills of lading invoices and orders to ensure accurate prioritization and assignment of shipments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of shipping procedures and record keeping methods
- 2 years of Supervisory experience
- 3-5 years experience in shipping and receiving
Work Environment & Expectations:
Manufacturing environment that may be hot noisy dirty.
Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching lifting stepping on and off the forklift regularly.
- Shipping in all weather conditions - snow rain heat
- Ensure that only products meeting quality standards are shipped and that all shipments are packed in approved compliant shipping containers.
