Description:
We are hiring for our client in Dungannonwho wish to appoint a Lead Electrical Engineer. This is a pivotal leadership role managing a small team of 34 Electrical Engineers focused on designing mainly static 3 phase installations and leading critical projects.
The ideal Lead Electrical Engineer will bring:
Strong experience in designing/specifying 3 phase control panels (essential)
Proven ability to lead or mentor a team of electrical engineers
Project management experience delivering on time and within budget
Ideally past exposure to the water waste recycling industry
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer to step into a leadership role with global scope working on new product development R&D and continuous improvement projects.

Based in Dungannon with some travel neccessary
Key leadership role within a global engineering organisation
Manage and provide direction to a team of 34 electrical engineers
Lead design activity for static 3 phase installations and associated control panels
Oversee new product development projects and ensure delivery against key objectives
Provide technical expertise on PLC/HMI software (IFM & Allen Bradley) and electrical control systems
Ensure compliance with safety standards and legislation supporting Zero Harm culture
Contribute to cost reduction and product reliability improvements
Liaise with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Occasionally support equipment commissioning installation and testing
Degree educated in an Engineering or Science discipline
Essential: hands-on experience in designing/specifying 3 phase control panels
Strong leadership skills ideally with experience leading a small engineering team
3 years experience in project management with on-time delivery track record
Familiarity with water waste recycling projects (desirable)
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems automation CAN bus/Modbus networks
Heavy equipment industry experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills; independent and self-motivated
