Job Description
Position:Occupational TherapistReports to:Building Principal and Assistant PrincipalEducation Work Experience and Licensure:Required:Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Preferred:Prior work experience as an Occupational TherapistPerformance Responsibilities: direct occupational therapy as prescribed by students IEP across all referred students regarding occupational therapy needs and determining eligibility for occupational therapy as related to accessing the general occupational therapy objectives for students therapy needs in clear concise measurable consultation and modeling to classroom staff regarding occupational therapy and demonstrate home programs when necessary. Instruct parents in follow through programs when regular and ongoing communication with teachers and other pertinent school staff to ensure optimum occupational ongoing data-based records on students as a member of the child evaluation team for assigned and participate in staff responsibility for providing written progress reports.
