Job Description:
What will you work on
The Rubiks Legacy Project Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of a portfolio of initiatives aligned with the legacy of Erno Rubik creator of the iconic Rubiks Cube. You will drive the planning and execution of several long term projects celebrating the value of creative problem solving including University Partnerships Live exhibitions Youth Challenges & Scholarships Lecture Series and more!
How will you create impact
- Establish project plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners to determine tasks milestones resources planned and actual dates
- Coordinate with Universities to plan and execute various partnerships with Rubiks Legacy.
- Manage programs to time cost and quality reflective of business and development objectives
- Use appropriate project management techniques to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques
- Identify anticipate and manage risks or issues at the project level
- Partner with VP Global Games to provide early warning of delays and strategize appropriate solutions in development plans or processes to deliver on demand forecast revisions
- Monitor resource utilization within the program and recommend adjustments to resource allocation as needed
- Report and escalate to management as needed; present verbal and written reports defining plans problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management
- Continuously improve project management toolkits processes and methodologies utilized for product development
What are your skills and experience
- Experience in project management role (experience in the not for-profit or educational fields a plus but not mandatory)
- Experience as an Admin or Executive Assistant
- PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent certification a plus
- Skills in project management software for project tracking
- Proficiency in creating presentation materials for executive review
This is a remote contract position for 12-18 months that could lead to a long term role.
