Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move load unload and stage materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location: 75th Ave & Van Buren
Shift :1st Shift (7:00am-4:30pm)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - Weekly Pay
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down forklift to load unload move and stack products or materials.
Safely transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Accurately pick scan and stage orders according to company procedures.
Maintain organized and clean work areas.
Follow all safety policies OSHA standards and company procedures.
Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift certification (sit-down) required.
Previous forklift or warehouse experience strongly preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Warehouse or distribution setting.
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility.
