Job Description
SYSTEMS TRAINER
SUMMARY
As the Systems Trainer you will be responsible for designing developing and delivering training programs to end-users on the companys various software applications with a focus on property management software. This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of training methodologies excellent communication skills and a passion for technology. You will work closely with subject matter experts and end-users to create engaging and effective training materials that enhance user adoption and proficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct thorough training needs analyses identify specific performance gaps and learning objectives and analyze existing user feedback and system usage to inform training content and strategies.
- Develop comprehensive training plans and curriculum outlining learning objectives content structure delivery methods and assessment strategies while applying instructional design principles to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Design and develop engaging training materials including presentations handouts online tutorials and videos.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design techniques to create effective learning experiences.
- Incorporate interactive elements such as quizzes simulations and case studies to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
- Deliver training programs to end-users in a variety of formats including classroom sessions online webinars one-on-one coaching and self directed learning courses.
- Adapt training delivery style to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys assessments and performance metrics.
- Analyze feedback and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and refine training materials and programs based on feedback data analysis and evolving system functionalities to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users after training completion.
- Develop and maintain training documentation including user manuals FAQs and knowledge base articles.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years in any multi-family on-site community software or technology systems trades training or help desk support roles in the multifamily.
- Hospitality industry experience will also be considered (experience working with varied leadership styles community segmentations and 3rd party management is a plus).
- Must have obtained a certificate or degree of formal education in Training Human Resources Hospitality Business Management Computer Science End-User Experience Software Project Management and/or Property Operation related fields.
- Must demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of technology education using systems like Asana Google Suite any Learning Management System any Help Desk Ticket correspondence Social Media tools spreadsheets schedules surveys and reporting.
- Must be proficient in video and content creation tools such as Camtasia Articulate PowerPoint and the Adobe Suite.
- Proven ability to dissect learn and coach multiple industry software systems and their programming parameters.
- Proven experience and a successful results-oriented track record in technology training and coaching (certifications may be required and are desired).
- Care about people possess the ability to empathetically communicate with knowledge-driven interpersonal abilities. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks have a strong sense of initiative and meet deadlines effectively during set periods aligned with company initiatives.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to receiving and incorporating feedback for continuous improvement and a commitment to personal and professional development.
- Valid Drivers License with no major violations within the past 12 months is required.
