John Pappajohn Pavillion (1 JPW) is a 15-bed inpatient unit dedicated to child and adolescent (3-17 years old) psychiatry services. This unit patient population includes depression anxiety eating disorder intellectual disability substance abuse and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The unit provides structured therapy including Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. Unique unit design features Circle School playground and gym to improve patient experience and outcomes.
University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk (NUC) toperform clerical reception and related duties relative to nursing care and services to patients.

Percent of Time: 50%
Schedule: Monday through Friday evenings 1600-2030.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
1. Graduation from high school and any combination of clerical experience health care experience and/or post high school education which totals one year or
2. Any combination of clerical experience and/or health care experience which totals two years.
