About the role:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Care Navigation team. You will be leading the member-facing web and app development this role you will collaborate closely with a talented product and design team to drive the development of user-focused applications in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
- Provide technical oversight and drive new features with a focus on Garners strategic mission
- Build a high-performance team by mentoring providing feedback and hiring
- Continuously strive for quality while maintaining speed of delivery
- Collaborate across disciplines by identifying bottlenecks and risks proposing mitigation and communicating tradeoffs
- Protect our users privacy and security through best practices
What you will bring to the team:
- 6 years of hands-on engineering experience with a track record of translating ambiguous business requirements into scalable solutions and new product features
- 1 years of managing engineering teams with a proven ability to inspire motivate mentor and retain top engineering talent
- Demonstrated experience shipping mobile apps into the Google Play and iOS stores
- Familiarity with web application development API design and cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS GCP)
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
- A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system

Compensation Transparency:
The target salary range for this position is $246000 - $260000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors including qualifications skills and applicable addition to base compensation this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans including but not limited to: flexible PTO Medical/Dental/Vision plan options 401(k) with company match flexible spending accounts Teladoc Health and more.
