Location: Chorley Lancashire
Salary: 35000
Hours: Monday to Friday Full-Time

About the Role
Syntech are looking for a number of Calibration Engineers to join a large TIC services business (Test Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.
Dimensional Calibration Engineer duties:
As a Dimensional Calibration Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Performing dimensional calibration of a variety of gauges fixtures and measuring instruments
- Ensuring calibrations meet internal and national standards (UKAS experience is highly desirable)
- Recording and maintaining accurate documentation and calibration certificates
- Supporting internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Communicating with customers or departments to ensure clarity on technical findings
Dimensional Calibration Engineer knowledge:
- Solid experience in dimensional calibration (e.g. micrometers verniers height gauges thread gauges)
- Familiarity with metrology and traceability standards
- Experience working within a UKAS-accredited environment (or understanding of ISO 17025)
- A methodical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
