Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Pontoon Beach IL 62040
Shift:
- Training: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (with occasional later times)
- Regular (Post-Training):
Sunday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Monday Thursday: 3:00 PM end of shift - Overtime: As needed
Job Description
- Perform order pulling inbound receiving housekeeping and other warehouse tasks as part of the warehouse team.
- Collaborate with supervisor and team members to complete tasks accurately and on time demonstrating strong communication and urgency.
- Responsibilities include: 50% order selecting put-away & scanning; 40% housekeeping; 10% other warehouse tasks.
- Operate equipment such as reach trucks (certified) and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a high focus on safety by following all company safety rules and procedures.
- Required to provide steel toe shoes. Dress code: jeans (without rips/tears) and hoodless sweatshirt. Company provides cold-weather gear (coat/hat/gloves).
Requirements
- Stand-up forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted.
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (32 F / 0 C).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Candidates seeking long-term employment strongly preferred.
