JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Developer
LOCATION: Orlando FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance preferred - Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

Summary:
-
Strong expertise in C/C embedded software development for operational flight programs.
-
Develop and integrate software on Intel multi-core processors using Yocto/FreeRTOS operating systems.
-
Position requires full-time onsite work in Orlando FL.
Requirements:
-
Active Secret Clearance preferred - Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

6 years of C/C object-oriented embedded software development & integration
-
6 years of multi-core processor software development
-
6 years of CMake/build system experience
-
6 years of experience with Agile Scrum processes
-
6 years with software configuration control tools (GitLab Bitbucket or equivalent)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
-
Familiarity with OpenSplice/Cyclone DDS
-
Understanding of Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA)
-
Experience with containerization (development & deployment)
-
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and automated testing
