JOB TITLE: Cable Assembler
LOCATION: Orlando FL
PAY RATE: $26.69/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 4/10 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday Thursday with optional overtime.

Summary:
-
Assemble cable harnesses per detailed planning documents (DWG PL) and procedures.
-
Perform wire stripping crimping soldering potting and related tasks.
-
Operate specialized tools (e.g. crimpers soldering irons potting equipment).
-
Follow quality control standards to ensure high-quality products.
-
Partner with quality personnel to resolve issues or defects.
-
Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
4 years of cable harness assembly experience (or related field).
-
Strong knowledge of cable harness assembly processes and procedures.
-
Ability to read and interpret planning documents and manufacturing instructions.

Skilled in using specialized tools (crimpers soldering irons etc.).
-
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals materials and equipment.
-
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Space Addendum Training experience.
-
Aerospace or defense industry background.
-
Familiarity with quality control standards.
-
Certification in cable harness assembly or related field.
-
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
