Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem Goshen NY

Star Nursing is seeking RNs for urgent per diem opportunities at a Sub-Acute Rehab Facility in Goshen NY (10924). Full-time block booking is available offering the opportunity to secure a steady schedule and potentially exceed 40 hours per week.

Job Type: Per Diem
Shifts Available:
- Overnight (11 PM 7 AM)
- PM Shift (3 PM 11 PM)
- AM & PM Weekend Shifts

Pay Rates:

Per Diem Rate: $53 per hour (taxable)
Split Pay Rate: $23 per hour (taxable) $1280 (tax-free)

Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care to ill injured or disabled patients
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
RN NY In good standing
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
IV Certification
Current - BLS/CPR
Skills checklist
Copy or drivers license and SS card
Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
