Job Description
Position Title: Refrigeration Operator
Position Type: Temporary - Full-Time
Position Location: Delmas

Refrigeration Operator (1 Year Fixed Term )
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Refrigeration Operator reporting to the Service Superintendent. The positions will be based in Delmas .
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Responsible to operate the Refrigeration plant main water supply air compressors and boreholes as well as servicing and maintaining cold rooms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure an effective availability of Refrigeration services and all outside plant rooms.
- Inspecting maintaining and operating Refrigeration cold store equipment and freezing tunnels as well as all refrigeration equipment.
- Safety and Housekeeping
- Air compressor operation and inspections.
- Main water supply tanks and borehole operations and inspections.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Be in possession of Ammonia Certificate Cat A
- Must be registered with SAQCCG.
- Person with experience will do 3 months on the job training.
- Previous food experience will be advantageous.
