Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department and manage financial resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage external audits
- Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations including bank debtors creditors and inter-company accounts
- Implement and maintain finance policies procedures and systems across the group
- Produce monthly management accounts financial reports and annual financial statements
- Support the budgeting process and prepare detailed cash flow forecasts
- Analyze financial performance against budgets identify variances and recommend corrective action
- Assist with provisional and year-end tax calculations
Requirements:
- Qualified CA
- Minimum qualification of BCom Honours Degree
- No preference to industry experience
- Strong financial management and leadership experience
- Solid technical knowledge of accounting principles statutory compliance and audit processes
- Proven ability to manage reporting budgeting and forecasting at a group level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- CaseWare and MS Excel skills required
- We use MDA Property Manager which would be advantageous but not necessary
