Job Description

The Client & The Role
This well-established firm based in Sydneys Inner West is looking to take on a Senior Business Services & Tax Accountant. They have a respectful and open team-work environment with approximately 20 experienced and supportive staff.
The Duties
- Work closely with the managers and the partners in the team and get exposure to clients on a range of business advisory needs
- Prepare & review accounts tax returns FBT returns BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs such as MYOB Xero and APS
- Prepare and manage client correspondence and management accounting reports for review
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory accounting & financial reporting standards
- Prepare Business Activity Statements and quarterly & annual tax compliance matters
- Oversee train and support more junior staff
The Applicant
- 4 years experience in Business Services & Tax within public practice
- University degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related fields
- Ideally CA/CPA qualified or at the later stage of completing it
- Strong Microsoft Office and XERO skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
