Position Summary:
Control Panel Assembly Tech is required to perform day-to-day functions in the department building industrial electrical control panels.
Primary Duties:
- Assemble wire and test industrial control panels.
- Build electrical panels and assemblies to UL508A specifications.
- Ability to read and understand electrical codes and standards (i.e. NEC UL etc).
- Test and troubleshoot control panels to ensure proper functionality.
- Assemble per instructions or drawings test and label as required.
- Basic warehouse functions shipping receiving and kitting of jobs.
Basic Requirements:
- Experience assembling and fabricating control panels in electrical testing troubleshooting or quality assurance within an industrial setting.
- Must be proficient in reading electrical schematics panel layout drawings and specifications.
- General understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations governing control panel design installation and testing (e.g. NEC UL 508A).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems control panel components and industrial automation technologies.
- Power-On Testing: Execute comprehensive power-on tests on industrial control panels to verify proper functioning of electrical components circuitry and control systems.
- Compliance Verification: Verify that control panels meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Certification(s) in electrical testing safety or quality assurance.
- Must be over the age of 21 as driving is required with valid drivers license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company guidelines.
- Multiple years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit stand walk and drive. Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds stooping reaching above shoulder level pushing pulling constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed.
- Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements.

Salary:
$25.00 - $30.00/hour depending on experience.
