At Tanager Linn Countys first childrens human services agency we have been serving the community since 1879. Our programs focus on prevention treatment and outreach reaching more than 4000 young people each year. This position is part of the Executive Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive this role youll join a culture of compassion accountability and innovation where your leadership will help strengthen the financial foundation that supports our mission.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and oversee financial operations including accounting payroll accounts payable and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement policies procedures and systems to ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee annual audit processes and compliance activities ensure timely accurate and transparent reporting.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO Executive Team and Board of Directors to support long-term sustainability and growth.
- Manage budgeting forecasting and investment activities while ensuring strong internal controls and risk management practices.
- Supervise and develop finance staff fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver timely and clear reports that communicate progress compliance and financial performance.

Qualifications
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in a mid- to upper-level financial management role preferably in healthcare or human services.
- Strong knowledge of finance accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex systems.
- Exceptional communication problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
