Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy or other related course
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 5 - 8 years of immersive experience in the different facets of Accounting and Finance such as but not limited to payables receivables disbursements collections and financial analysis
- Extensive understanding of financial trends in the industry and in the general market
- Background in team management coaching and mentoring
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
- Proven competency and proficiency with the use of Accounting Software is an advantage for this role
- Ability to work around new tools and accounting processes is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Develops updates and oversees implementation of Department policies and SOPs.
- Ensures compliance with BIR SEC LGU and other external regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates with external accountants for timely submission and filing of statutory reports across all entities: DOV CIIT Trading College and SHS.
- Validates disbursement positions funding levels expense commitments and ensures alignment with institutional financial and budget goals.
- Monitors monthly KPI submissions from the Supervisor and Officers.
- Reviews and prepares monthly FS reports to the Board and ManCom. (FS Budget vs Actuals Budget Performance Cash Position).
- Diagnoses workflow or policy gaps and implements practical process solutions.
- Mentors Finance team and leads internal knowledge transfer sessions.
- Develops and maintain an accounting manual.
