We are seeking a skilled and results-driven BI Developer to join our growing team. This role is essential in driving data-informed decision-making by designing developing and maintaining scalable business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Power BI development data modeling ETL processes and experience working with modern data platforms like Azure. You will play a key role in transforming business requirements into impactful insights supporting strategic goals and ensuring data accuracy across our internal products.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory
- Write and maintain efficient T-SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements understand data needs and identify automation opportunities
- Translate requirements into actionable BI solutions that support internal product goals
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and performance across BI systems
- Proactively identify and resolve data or performance issues in reports and pipelines
- Document BI processes products and solutions following internal methodologies
- Support data governance and ensure secure reliable access to information
- Continuously improving BI capabilities by staying current with tools and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI including DAX Power Query and data modeling
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and writing optimized T-SQL queries
- Practical experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and managing ETL pipelines
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other Azure services such as Azure SQL or Data Lake
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data projects (e.g. DevOps automation pipelines YAML)
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 DP-203 or AZ-900
