Short Description
Looking for experienced technical designers/drafters.
The Nas Tech Designer 2 is part of a fast-paced design team tasked with the execution of technical designs and drawings for Nassals in-house fabrication team. This position is focused on the development of working drawings within company and industry standards and codes. Applicants should have an understanding of materials and fabrication methodologies for the themed entertainment and construction industries:
Responsibilities
- Produce technical designs and drawings for in-house fabrication projects including 3D modeling digital tooling and facility coordination utilizing the following software platforms; AutoCAD 2D & 3D Rhino Revit and Adobe CS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent aligns with fabrication capabilities and project requirements.
- Support project planning and execution by providing accurate documentation and design specifications.
- Assist in material selection prototyping and fabrication process optimization.
- Maintain design standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience with programming languages such as PLC/Ladder Logic JavaScript/TypeScript or C/C is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in design architecture engineering or construction-related fields.
Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent trade experience.
Willingness to travel as needed.
