Job Summary:
The Mitchell Selig Ford Family is proud to offer an exclusive opportunity for highly motivated and personable Technicians! Come be part of our groundbreaking Ford Automotive Mobile Service Unit that is changing the automotive repair industry! - During your initial employment this hybrid position will combine both shop repairs and mobile service repairs but will grow to be solely an on-the-road position.
A brand new Ford Mobile Service Unit stocked with all of the tools needed to do the job safely and efficiently will be provided along with continued training and advancement in the best technician training curriculum with Ford - becoming a Ford Top Tech!

Responsibilities:
-Completes recalls per manufacturers technical instructions
- Provide timely and efficient repair and maintenance services to customers vehicles at various locations including homes offices and roadside assistance calls
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using electronic diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided and parts used
- Communicate with customers to explain repair processes and provide cost estimates for services
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training and continuing education opportunities as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mobile technician a PLUS
- Strong technical and mechanical skills including the ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret technical manuals
- Knowledge of vehicle systems components and repair processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a liking to talking and being customer facing
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
