What You Will Achieve
This secondment offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Pfizers Operational Excellence strategy by applying advanced analytics to improve productivity digital amplification and knowledge graph development. As a Data Scientist you will collaborate cross-functionally to design an analytical model that transforms raw data into strategic insights facilitating evidence-based decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PGS network.
How You Will Achieve It
In this role you will:
Strategic Analytics & Collaboration
Partner with Operational Excellence (OpX) leaders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities.
Support productivity hunting initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
Contribute to the development of knowledge graphs for operational excellence.
Support PGSs digital transformation efforts by leveraging AI technology to enhance performance and efficiency.
Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making practices across the PGS network.
Data Science Execution
Build pipelines to extract transform and load datasets from Snowflake SQL databases in collaboration with data engineers.
Design and execute predictive models segmentation algorithms and causal analyses.
Visualize insights in accessible formats for diverse stakeholders.
Communication & Enablement
Translate complex manufacturing and financial data into actionable insights for operational teams.
Support training and enablement efforts around data literacy and analytics tools.
Qualifications
Must-Have
BA/BS in Data Science Machine Learning Statistics Computer Science or related fields with 8years of experience.
Solid experience with Python SQL and data visualization software.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong ability to navigate through uncertainty and perform effectively in dynamic environments.
Nice-to-Have
MBA/MS with 7years of experience; OR PhD/JD with 5years of experience.
Experience in building or contributing to graph databases specifically neo4J and the Cypher Query Language
Strong knowledge of SAP and other Pfizer financial systems (EPM HFM Mosaic)
Exposure to Pfizers digital platforms and analytics ecosystem.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Global role off-shift work may be required. Minimal travel required.
