About the role
Whether you are an experienced early childhood leader or youre ready for your first lead role we can support you.
Located in Hobart CBD our service is rated Exceeding by the National Quality Standard (NQS) and supports children to explore discover and learn. The centre offers great facilities including a brand-new playground and furnishings. Learn more about our childcare service in Hobart.
As the Room Leader you will support a team of educators that are passionate about nurturing the confidence strengths and interests of the children in our high-quality Reggio Emilia inspired early learning program.
You will implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children and create a play-based learning environment responsive to childrens strengths and abilities. You will implement daily routines maintain records of development and continuously reflect and improve childrens learning.

About you
Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) you have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
You will also bring with you:
- An ability to lead the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children in partnership with other educators families and children.
- An ability to plan reflect work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
- An ability to learn and understand early childhood development theories.
