Security Technical Account Manager

Fastly is looking for a Technical Account Manager focused on Fastly Security products in North America. Our Technical Account Managers focus on delivering strategic technical initiatives for our customers in coordination with our Security Solutions teams. As a TAM you will be collaborating with Product Management Engineering Support and Security Research teams to help some of our biggest clients.

What Youll Do:

• Own the Technical relationship with assigned accounts on an ongoing basis

• Understand the customers security strategy and advise on how Fastlys security products can help customers achieve their security goals

• Focus on ensuring customers are successful with Fastlys security products from implementation through to ongoing usage

• Manage project status in our project management tools

• Work on internal PS projects as assigned

• Provide training to customers

What Were Looking For:

• Prior experience in Cybersecurity preferably Application Security

• Experience with some or all the following foundational technologies: SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments; Apache/NGINX/IIS or other web server platforms and associated Application server technologies and frameworks

• Unix/Linux or Windows systems administration

• Scripting ability with any of the following: Python Java Go PHP Unix/Linux Shell C# or other common Web languages

• Understanding of HTTP and API security best practices

• A creative out of the box problem solver

• Ability and experience in troubleshooting software products

• Proficiency in English is required

Well be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: (Optional)

• HTTP protocol experience. We protect all types of web servers so everything we work with will involve HTTP protocol

• Docker experience as it used by many of our customers

• Kubernetes Know-how. Kubernetes is now being used everywhere and we always like to have more in house knowledge

• Knowledge of different Systems Config Management tools is very helpful

• Experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud

Work Hours:

• This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

This position can be hired as fully remote or hybrid office. The preferred hybrid locations for this position are:

• Denver CO

• New York NY

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $104830 to $147996.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as experience skills qualifications and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastlys equity and discretionary bonus programs.
