Cerity Partners is seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our tax team as a Tax Intern from October 2025 April 2026. This is a paid internship program (20 hours per week) and is designed to provide college students with an opportunity to enhance their formal education with a hands-on career-related experience. This role is also ideal for someone looking for a part-time seasonal position in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of federal state and local individual and business income tax returns
- Create work papers
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Majoring in Finance Accounting or related business degree with a strong interest in tax
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Actively participating in campus organizations preferably within a leadership role and/or professional work experience

- Tech savvy Ability to quickly learn to navigate various software applications
- Organized Proficient at compiling data into a presentable orderly deliverable
