Job Description
RETTEW is seeking an experienced Engineer of Record (EOR) to join our Municipal Team. This position will play a key role in leading the engineering design and delivery of municipal water wastewater and infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania.

Position Summary / What Youll Do
As an Engineer of Record you will provide technical leadership and professional engineering oversight on municipal projects ensuring high-quality code-compliant designs. Youll serve as the signing/sealing engineer mentor project engineers and partner with project managers to deliver solutions that meet client goals.

Responsibilities / Day-to-Day
- Lead engineering design efforts and serve as Engineer of Record for municipal projects.
- Prepare and/or review engineering plans specifications and calculations for accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to project engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget.
- Interface with municipal clients regulatory agencies and stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure adherence to professional engineering standards codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental or related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania.
- 8 years of progressive engineering experience in municipal water wastewater or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as Engineer of Record on design projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Client-facing experience with municipal clients in Pennsylvania.
